The Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM) in Academic Association with Les Roches Global Hospitality Education
Scheduled to open in 2020, AIHM – the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management in Academic Association with Les Roches Global Hospitality Education – will set the stage for best-in-class education and training in hospitality leadership.
Established by Minor International on a foundation of more than 40 years of industry experience, AIHM is poised to become Southeast Asia’s preeminent hospitality management facility, providing certificate-, diploma- and bachelor-level education independent of any hotel brand. All courses will follow the Swiss curriculum, certified by prestigious Swiss hospitality school Les Roches.
Aspiring leaders can undertake the school’s core programme – the 3.5-year Bachelor of Business Administration in Global Hospitality Management course – which combines classroom theory with practical real-world training in some of Thailand’s leading hotels. Additionally, AIHM will offer vocational and executive training to industry professionals.
Students rotate through two campuses in key Thai tourist centres – one in Bangkok and one in the coastal province of Chonburi – providing full immersion in one of the world’s top tourism hubs. Students who qualify will also have the opportunity to train in top-tier European schools by transferring to Les Roches campuses in Bluche, Switzerland and Marbella, Spain.
Graduates of the school will be well-placed to find leadership roles within Thailand and throughout Asia, and have the chance to join one of Minor Hotels’ growing teams across a wide range of brands and properties around the world.
AIHM is set to open its doors to students from the start of fall semester, September 2020.
